Donors
We’re so glad you want to support us! Running a theatre company has a lot of expenses (yeesh!), so any contribution goes a long way. We have artist stipends, administrative costs, insurance, Lite-Brites, Ginger Chew Chimes… Anyway, the point we’re trying to make here is that every donation is super important to us!
Patreon
If you want to donate to us regularly, we have a Patreon! And in return, you get sweet sweet rewards.
What is Patreon? It’s an awesome platform for creatives where you give us a monthly donation and we give you content. Like behind the scenes, first listens, archives, stickers, and more!
Why should you join us on Patreon? We want to keep bringing you the best original productions and live our mission statement (ya can’t miss it). Every new monthly donation on Patreon means we have one more microphone at a show (we want you to hear us), one more costume piece (dickies aren’t free!), or one more poster to put up in Depot Town (graphic design is our passion… after theatre of course).
Every show starts with a blank sheet of paper (that’s why we call it “theatre from scratch”) and with every new patron we can breathe deep and focus on the art, which is what we’re all here for! Well, that and the Lite-Brites.
What You Get:
Here’s what you’ll get, depending on your tier:
- See tiers at www.patreon.com/ntgypsi
But for real, check out the tiers (it’s all there) and marvel at the fantastic stuff and how cute the names are.
Neat!
Individual donors
Patreon not for you? We get it. You’re more of a wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am kind of donor.
Good news, you can make a one-time donation here.
Cool? Cool.
Underwriters
Do you like your name? Do you want to see it on a poster? How about hearing it in a curtain speech? What about an invitation to our opening night with your name on it?
Did you just nod four times while saying “Mmmm.. Ahhh…Oooh”?
Then this is for you!
Underwriting isn’t just writing underneath a desk. It’s writing a check on top of the desk. A check that fully supports one production.
The average investment to underwrite a show is $3000-$5000.

Our Reach
Neighborhood Theatre Group consistently performs to full houses. Our audience is a diverse group of individuals, over 60% of whom come from outside of Ypsilanti. Additionally, 75% of our audience patronizes another local business the very same evening.

In Kind Donors
Money is great, but lots of different things go into making our shows.
Do you have extra paint you are looking to get rid of? Bring it our way and you may see a set piece that matches your living room.
Is there an extra set of tools hanging around your garage? Greg would love to use them to build our next “prop” coffin.
More than physical goods, you can always donate your services, time, and expertise.
Dramaturg a show, help us make props, donate a raffle prize, or pick up a paintbrush (to make use of that above mentioned living room paint).
